How to pick a size

Measure your shin

Measure shin length from the center of the kneecap to the center of the outer ankle.

Sit with your knee bent at 90 degrees and measure from the middle of the knee to the top of the skate boot, just above the first eyelet. If height and shin length point to different sizes, go by shin length. If you wear the guards outside the skate tongue, take one size bigger.

Bauer measures to the ankle and CCM measures to the top of the skate boot, so their numbers are not interchangeable. Use the method for the brand you buy.
