How Rink Buddy Gear Finder makes money

Rink Buddy Gear Finder is free to use. We earn a commission when you click a link to a retailer and then buy something. This costs you nothing extra and does not change the price you pay.

Many of the "Buy" and "View at [retailer]" links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale. That's our only source of income right now.

What this means for what you see

• We are paid by some retailers and not by others. We show products from stores we have a commission arrangement with and from stores we don't. The default order of results is by best match to your filters, then lowest price. Commission plays no part in the order.
• We list products, we don't sell them. The retailer sets the price, stock, shipping and returns, and handles your order and any problems.
• Prices and stock are collected from retailers' data and can be out of date by the time you click. Check the retailer's page before you buy.
• We don't take payment for reviews or rankings.
• We don't write fake or paid reviews, and we don't show customer reviews from sites we don't credit.

Retailer programs we belong to

We are applying to affiliate programs run by networks such as AvantLink, CJ, Impact and Partnerize/Ascend, and by individual retailers. Until a store approves us, links to it earn us nothing. Which retailers pay us, and what we earn, can change.
